CNN —Drivers, equip your drivers – Netflix’s debut live sporting event is pitting the stars of the grid against the stars of the greens. Teeing off on November 14, “The Netflix Cup” will see four Formula One drivers and four PGA Tour players compete in a golf tournament streamed live from Wynn Golf Club near the Las Vegas strip. The newly-opened Surat Diamond Bourse is billed as a “one-stop destination” for over 65,000 diamond professionals, including cutters, polishers and traders. The trading center’s architects say it comprises over 7.1 million square feet of floor space, which would mean it has surpassed the Pentagon as the world’s largest office building. According to the project’s CEO, Mahesh Gadhavi, Surat Diamond Bourse will save thousands of people from traveling — sometimes daily — to Mumbai by train to do business. The design was also informed by Morphogenesis’ research into how the Indian diamond trade operates. The investment group also includes Otro Capital and RedBird Capital Partners. Reynolds and McElhenney are the co-owners of Welsh soccer side, Wrexham. The biggest hurdle, experts say, is that it’s almost always cheaper to let carbon dioxide waft into the atmosphere than to capture it. The owners of at least six coal plants and 14 large gas plants are conducting detailed engineering studies to gauge the economic feasibility of carbon capture and storage. Calpine Corporation, one of the country’s largest generators of electricity from natural gas, is exploring plans to install the technology at four large gas plants in Texas and California. The company is exploring other potential sources of financing so that it can bridge the gap and gain experience driving down costs for future carbon capture projects. Carbon capture technology could allow gas-fired plants to provide that service without polluting.

The solid box office was propelled by female viewers, who accounted for 66% of the film’s opening weekend totals, according to the studio. Ultimately, “Don’t Worry Darling” did what it was supposed to do, at least in terms of selling tickets. Now, those in Hollywood are wondering if “Don’t Worry Darling” will keep box office momentum going into its second weekend.
